Happy Birthday, Me

Wednesday 2 May 2012 - I have had a lovely quiet day with my parents in Ballina today. They bought me an iPod Nano which I love, and I also got some great "lounging" pjs, a fancy eye mask and some other goodies from my sister Donna. Sean and Sam's present is waiting for me to collect when I next see them. More presents, yeah!
Today Mum, Dad & I had lunch at Westower Tavern. I had barramundi which was yummy, but the serving size was really big, so for dinner, I had a piece of birthday cake and a couple of glasses of champagne... full as a googy. 
I got text messages and calls from wonderful friends and family. I have decided birthdays are to be celebrated, not dreaded, and this year, to quote a friend, I am going to "be my own hero" and make the most of opportunities that come my way. Go ME!!
