- lower my cholesterol levels - meaning, less red meat, cheese, full dairy, chocolate and fatty foods
- lower the urea my kidneys produce - drink more water
- increase iron levels - leafy green veges and an iron supplement
- lose weight - that old chestnut
Back at work, the third afternoon tea this week (quite a few birthdays this time of year) tested my new health resolve. No cheese & crackers, no chips, no lollies for me. Boo. Hard to say no really. But I did, and was very pleased with my will power - for one day anyway! Tomorrow is a new day.
